My 100 Day Challenge – Day 8
Today’s weather was fantastic. Bright and sunny, crisp at 10 degrees, it was perfect for biking.
Have you ever just felt like even though everything appears to be perfect for something, it just isn’t?
I have, and I have scars to prove it. On days when I persisted in going for a ride – even a simple street ride – even though I felt kinda off, I’ve fallen, crashed.
(Oddly – and this might be TMI for some – it almost always coincides with ovulation day.)
So although I really wanted to be out there, riding the trails, I also really just wasn’t feeling it.
I did a pretty intense (by my standards) 90-minute Ashtanga yoga session instead. It felt really good as muscles and body parts I’d neglected for so long got revived.
Maybe I should make Ashtanga yoga more frequent in my repertoire…?
